liblldpctl-dev software package provides implementation of IEEE 802.1ab (LLDP) - development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblldpctl-dev
liblldpctl-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblldpctl-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblldpctl-dev *
You will get with liblldpctl-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
